Blake Gilbert (Development officer)

About: Blake joined the Softball NT team in Febuary 2022 as a development officer.

Blake has been playing baseball since he was 4 years old. Through his career, Blake has represented the NT by participating in the 2022 ACT Showcase Series in Canberra, participated in the under 16's and 18's Queensland Baseball State Championship in 2019 and 2020. Blake has also won the Northern Territory Baseball junior of the year in 2019 and the Darwin Baseball League junior of the year in 2018.

He has been helping coach junior baseball for 5 years and is a joint coach at the Tracy Village Baseball Club.

He also plays AFL in Darwin and represented the Northern Territory at the under 15's Australian Championships for AFL in 2019.

Blake continues to play baseball in Darwin, currently for the Tracy Village Baseball club.

Before coming to Softball NT Blake worked as one of the groundsmen on the baseball/softball fields in Darwin.
