At our last update before we all went into self-isolation, we advised that we would provide an update on April 20. We are closely following advice and updates from official government and health sources, and with no official change in circumstances, at this stage we still cannot provide a date when our leagues and programs will resume.
We are also working in close consultation with our National Body, Softball Australia and will follow their advice as well.
We feel very fortunate to live and work in the Northern Territory and are heartened by the lack of both community spread and new cases of COVID-19. We are cautiously hopeful this will place us in good stead to slowly resume operations in some form in the not too distant future. However, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and take advice from official government and health authorities.
Please continue to keep a close eye on our website and Facebook page. We will be providing some strategies and tips for engaging with Softball virtually (if not on the field) over the coming weeks and months. We are still continuing to work from home and are still contactable via the usual channels.
Thanks for your understanding. We wish you and your families well and hope you all stay safe and healthy in this time.
